Astraeos Final Update and Major Patch v93

Astraeos finaler Update

ARK: Survival Ascended – Patch v93 & Astraeos v0.1.4 Patch Notes

Studio Wildcard has released major update v93 for both servers and clients. Alongside the official launch of Astraeos v0.1.4, this patch introduces dynamic naval warfare, dangerous new terrestrial and desert predators, Genesis ocean expansions, and a comprehensive suite of exploit and balance fixes. Below is the editorial breakdown followed by the complete, unabridged patch notes.

Creatures

Two distinct species join the ARKs: the ferocious Boaratos makes its debut as an Astraeos exclusive, while the subterranean-stalking Concavenator brings pack-hunting ambush mechanics across multiple maps.

  • Added the Boaratos to Astraeos: A massive, fiercely aggressive, and scorching new boar found exclusively on Astraeos.
  • Added the Concavenator: Available on Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Extinction, and Astraeos.
  • Added the X-Concavenator: Native to Genesis.
  • Added the Aberrant Concavenator: Adapted to Aberration. This ruthless pack hunter turns the desert into a lethal playground as they swim beneath the dunes ambushing prey with aerial attacks and blinding sand clouds!

Ships

Naval gameplay undergoes a massive expansion with dynamic wave mechanics, weather hazards, and two specialized warships tailored for heavy combat and rough seas.

  • Added the Galleon: For owners of Tides of Fortune. Take the helm of the majestic Galleon, the ultimate naval titan designed for extensive fortress-style base building and a devastating battery of cannons built for catastrophic broadside barrages!
  • Added the Trireme: For owners of Astraeos. The ocean is no longer a passive boundary. Dynamic, rolling wave mechanics and new weather events transform the seas into a restless, shifting frontier, giving the new ancient Trireme warship the perfect arena for rough-water navigation.
  • Shipyard Crafting: The Shipyard and the various ship ammunition types can now also be crafted with Astraeos ownership.
  • Galleon Mode: The Shipyard can now be converted into "Galleon Mode," reconfiguring the Shipyard to support the larger vessel.
  • Ship HUD: Added a rudder direction indicator on the Ship’s HUD.

Genesis Changes

The Genesis Ocean Biome receives significant open-water points of interest alongside land-based procedural pirate outposts and merchant camps.

  • Added three new Ocean Outposts:
    • Brimstone Bay
    • Chained Megachelon
    • Market Port
  • Added Land Outposts throughout the islands of the Genesis Ocean Biome:
    • Discover 20 different Pirate Camp layouts, defeat the pirates occupying them, and claim their loot.
    • You may instead encounter a friendly Market Camp, where neutral Pirate Merchants offer goods at a discounted price.
