With ARK: Lost Colony, Survival Ascended ventures into completely new territory for the first time. The map takes players to a place that has existed in ARK lore for years only as a whisper in scattered data fragments: Arat Prime.

What at first sounds like just another map quickly turns out to be a connecting link between the known ARKs, the Genesis simulation, and the distant colony ship storyline. Lost Colony is intended to tie all these threads together – and at the same time expands ASA with new creatures, mechanics, and speculation that are already sparking discussion.

With Valguero Ascended, ARK: Survival Ascended will receive another map on September 30, 2025, which is already known from the ASE version. The release was originally scheduled for the end of August but has been postponed by about a month.

Summer Bash 2025 Brings Beach Vibes to the ARK

With the latest update, the annual in-game event "Summer Bash" kicks off. The ARK is transformed into a summer atmosphere – featuring colorful dinos, fun skins, special emotes, and seasonal decorations. Club Ark has also been visually updated to match the season. The event can be activated on both official and private servers and offers new content as well as familiar favorites from previous years.
