Astraeos Mega Update: Pyranthos and Hydra
The map Astraeos, developed by modder Nektatus, received its largest update to date (Client Version 83.x) on February 25, 2026.
As an official non-canonical DLC for ARK Survival Ascended, Astraeos has already established itself with its setting inspired by Greek mythology. The upcoming update drastically expands the playable area.

The Extra Life Fundraising 2025 was a clear success for ARK: over $190,000 in donations were raised. At the same time, another community favorite came into focus: the TLC Update 2026. There are 5 slots available for this visual and gameplay overhaul program. Three dinos have already been confirmed: Araneo, Quetzalcoatlus, and Giganotosaurus. It is very likely that Therizinosaurus and Megalosaurus will follow.

Ossidon – the frostborn guardian of Arat Prime
This creature, half force of nature, half artificial creation, was crafted in the laboratories of Arat Prime – as the "Apex Protector" of humanity. Its task: to defend against titans, should the day come when the protective systems of the ARKs fail. Thus, the Ossidon takes on the same role once held by the Giganotosaurus on The Island or the Wyverns in Scorched Earth – only on a much larger, frostier scale.
