Tech Update: ASA delays Unreal Engine 5.7 to Q3 2026

A massive technological milestone for ARK: Survival Ascended (ASA) has been delayed: Studio Wildcard has officially announced that the highly anticipated upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.7 will not be released as originally planned, but has been postponed to late third quarter of 2026 (Late Q3 2026).

Set Sail - Tides Of Fortune

Genesis Part 1 fundamentally transforms the ASA architecture. At its center is the paid DLC "Tides of Fortune", part of the "Bob’s Tall Tales" pack. Studio Wildcard is targeting a release in summer 2026.

pARKplatz - Content Creator PvEvP-RP Server

The pARKplatz is a time-limited event format for ARK Survival Ascended, focusing on a controlled symbiosis of classic survival gameplay and softcore role-playing. It starts on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Studio Wildcard has confirmed a specific content update for summer 2026. The upcoming expansion map "Astraeos," developed by Nektatus, integrates a new creature into the official ecosystem: the Boaratos.

Today, on March 6, 2026, Netflix has released the four-part documentary series "The Dinosaurs" worldwide.

Astraeos Mega Update: Pyranthos and Hydra

The map Astraeos, developed by modder Nektatus, received its largest update to date (Client Version 83.x) on February 25, 2026. 

As an official non-canonical DLC for ARK Survival Ascended, Astraeos has already established itself with its setting inspired by Greek mythology. The upcoming update drastically expands the playable area.
