The Winter Wonderland patch on December 14th will introduce brand new narrative content - featuring actors Maddy Madden (The Wheel of Time) and David Tennant (Doctor Who) reprising their respective roles as Helena Walker and Sir Edmund Rockwell.

All of Helena’s and Rockwell’s Dossiers and Explorer Notes will also be voiced by the actors, as will survivors’ epic confrontation versus Rockwell on ARK Aberration.  The highly requested Scorched Earth ascension will also make its debut!

Welcome to ARK: Survival of the Fittest, the first-ever M.O.S.A. - a multiplayer online survival arena - developed by Studio Wildcard for the burgeoning Wild West of eSports. ARK: Survival of the Fittest (SotF) is a spin-off of the most popular open-world Early Access game on Steam ARK: Survival Evolved and pits up to 72 players against each other in an action-packed survival battle that ultimately leads to an epic showdown where only one "tribe" will survive.

Our annual Halloween event, Fear Evolved, is creeping up on the ARK with a scary screech, and we've got all the tricks and/or treats lined up for survivors to enjoy in the coming weeks!

From October 19 to November 2, the ARK will be teeming with creepy new chibis making their ARK debut, cutting-edge fashion, and spooky event creatures, all resplendent in moonlit pumpkin patches and Halloween festivities!

Dress up in event fashions and creepy shoulder companions and go on the hunt for the elusive DodoRex and DodoWyvern.  

I consider myself lucky to have encountered Carcharodontosaurus medicupestis and survived to tell the tale. While I'm not sure if this predator grows larger than a Giganotosaurus, I hope I never find out. A single one of these powerhouses held its own against an entire army of us, and that encounter cost us dearly.
 
The Carcharodontosaurus can sweep attackers aside with its tail, but it's the other end you should really be wary of. It has teeth like steak knives stuck in a jaw strong enough to shred most prey. Even a near miss will shred you, but good.
 

With the latest patch from Wildcard, the bug that a dedicated ARK server crashes with a map size (savefile) of 4GB is finally fixed! The other patch notes are:

Dragon was vanilla. 19 Rexes and 1 Yuti. Rexe had between 28k and 32k HP and Damage was at 600-800. Saddles we had the first half simple 60-80s and the rest then 130-180s values. 4 Rexes died. Luck had that the Dragon could not fly off and I have very (too) late with the Yuti "screamed". Players we were two and the one has shot with Shotgun and Minigun.

Fjordur will be a free, official, non-canon DLC expansion map coming to ARK: Survival Evolved on June 12, 2022. Expected "features" from the new map:
