ASA: New creature for Aberration (UPDATE)

Until Monday, July 24, 2022, you have the opportunity to vote for your favorite creature for the Aberration card. This will then be automatically integrated with the future update of ASA in connection with the DLC card Aberration. From the mentioned date, an official vote will be held among ten creatures that have received the most votes by then.

Number of animals per card

Have you ever considered how many animals could be active on a single map of ARK Survival Evolved? So far, we have counted the following quantities on average:

Rhyniognatha

Rhyniognatha is an extinct genus of arthropods whose classification is controversial. In some analyses, it is considered the oldest known insect and possibly a flying insect. This monster beetle will now be released on the existing version of ARK Survival Edition in June 2023 as the final content update.

ASA: New Creature for Scorched Earth

*** UPDATE: Winner is the Fasolasuchus *** Until May 1st it was possible to vote for different creatures. One of them has now won and will be available as a new creature for the revamped Scorched Earth map in the upcoming ARK release ASA (Ascendend) this summer. The winner will be announced on May 5 or 6, 2023. We can't wait to see which creature makes the cut.

Rhyniognatha - Giga der Lüfte (Community Draft)

Rhyniognatha is an extinct genus of arthropods and is often considered the oldest flying insect. Named after the place where it was found, Rhynie in Scotland, and the Greek word "gnathos" (the pine).

It is said to add an original style of creature, using a species almost forgotten in ARK: Insects! It's also a way to make the sky more dangerous, even if you've already tamed a flying mount! Plus, once it's tamed, it becomes a mount in the endgame! This creature was suggested by Zichfried.

Announcement: Carcharodontosaurus

I consider myself lucky to have encountered Carcharodontosaurus medicupestis and survived to tell the tale. While I'm not sure if this predator grows larger than a Giganotosaurus, I hope I never find out. A single one of these powerhouses held its own against an entire army of us, and that encounter cost us dearly.

The Carcharodontosaurus can sweep attackers aside with its tail, but it's the other end you should really be wary of. It has teeth like steak knives stuck in a jaw strong enough to shred most prey. Even a near miss will shred you, but good.

Fjordur

Fjordur will be a free, official, non-canon DLC expansion map coming to ARK: Survival Evolved on June 12, 2022. Expected "features" from the new map:
